Best Smoked Ribs Ever


  • Butter
  • Bacon Grease
  • Honey
  • Pork Ribs
  • Honey Habanero Seasoning
  • Killer Hogs Seasoning
  • Mustard


Step 1

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (use a butter knife & paper towel)

Step 2

Rub lightly with mustard

Step 3

Dust both sides with honey habanero seasoning (or your favorite seasoning)

Step 4

Add a layer of killer hogs rub (or your favorite seasoning)

Step 5

Smoke at 230 degrees for 2 ½ hours

Step 6

Remove ribs and place face down on foil. Add the butter bath to the ribs & wrap up (Butter bath = 2 tablespoons butter, honey & bacon grease)

Step 7

Return to the smoker at 275 for 1 ½ hours.

Step 8

Remove from the smoker (optional) brush with Big Luds BBQ sauce (or your favorite sauce) then return to the smoker for 15 minutes to set the sauce. Cut and enjoy
