Lobster Stuffed Flank Steak (Surf and Turf)
Ingredients
- 1 Flank Steak
- 7 Lobster Claws
- 1 1/2 cubes Butter
- 1/2 block Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic Seasoning
- Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning
- Butcher Twine
Directions
Step 1
Filet flank steak in half but still attached
Step 2
Remove all meat from lobster claws
Step 3
Whip butter, cream cheese, and garlic together in medium sized mixing bowl
Step 4
Chop up lobster meat very fine and mix in with whipped mixture
Step 5
Baste the inside of the flank steak with ½ cube of melted butter
Step 6
Layer salt, pepper, garlic, and montreal steak seasoning with a even medium layer
Step 7
Layer flank with whipped lobster meat mixture and leave 2 inches on all edges
Step 8
Roll flank into flank burrito style
Step 9
Tie closed with butcher twine
Step 10
Butter outside and season with medium layer with salt, garlic, pepper, and montreal steak seasoning
Step 11
Smoke for 1 hour at 275F (or until internal is 120F)
Step 12
Sear on flat top grill (or whatever you have) 2 minutes each side
Step 13
Let sit for 10 minutes if you can wait that long, then eat that stuff it’s ridiculously good
