My Favorite Smoked Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients

  • Baby Back Ribs
  • Optional Mustard
  • Holy Voodoo Seasoning
  • Hot Honey BBQ
  • Killer Hogs Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Bacon Grease
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1 tablespoon BBQ Sauce

Directions

Step 1

Take membrane off of ribs.

Step 2

Rub with mustard lightly

Step 3

Put seasoning on both sides of the ribs

Step 4

Put in smoker at 230 for 2 ½ hours

Step 5

Take out. Lay out two pieces of tinfoil that are big enough to wrap around the ribs. Place ribs meat side down on foil. Make a little trough to hold the butter bath.

Step 6

Mix melted butter, honey, bacon grease, and BBQ sauce together. Drizzle sauce all over creating a butter bath. You will want about ¾ a cup of butter bath on the ribs.

Step 7

Place ribs face down on smoker at 275 for 1 ½ hour in butter bath for bite of the bone ribs. Tip if you want fall-off-the-bone-ribs leave in the smoker for about 30 minutes longer.

Step 8 *oPTIONAL

Put BBQ sauce on top and through back in the smoker for 20 minutes

Step 9

Take out and dig in, but not too fast or you’ll burn your fingers 🙂
