Whole Smoked Pig
Ingredients
- Whole Pig
- Apple Juice
- Apple Cider
- Brown Sugar
- Salt
- Pork Seasoning
- Vegetable Oil
Directions
Step 1
Preheat smoker 225 degrees F
Step 2
Purchase a whole hog ready to cook or kill and prepare the pig yourself
Step 3
Mix Apple Cider, Apple juice, brown sugar, and salt
Step 4
Inject pig with your mix
Step 5
Rub the pig with your seasoning
Step 6
Cover snout and ears with tinfoil
Step 7
Check and rub pig with olive oil (or spray with cooking spray) around every 3 hours
Step 8
Take the pig out when the internal temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit. In total around 16 hours
